FairWinds Advisors would like to congratulate Willoughby Industries, Inc. and Etching Industries on their recent project successes.  Both projects were very competitive, however, chose to stay and grow in Indiana.

(Indianapolis) Willoughby Industries was started in 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana with the early business focus on residential and commercial sheet metal fabrication and repair.  Today Willoughby is the largest manufacturer of security plumbing products in the country, with a wide product offering of both stainless steel and solid surface products for the commercial, security, and healthcare markets.  Willoughby will make a capital investment of $4,970,000 in personal property and $4,900,000 in real property improvements in Marion County, retain 106 jobs and create 8 new positions by 2014.

The City of Indianapolis granted real and personal property tax abatement in support of the project.

(Indianapolis) Etching Industries, a division of St. Regis Group in Canada, is a supplier of hand-etched crystal awards, beverage ware, trophies and desk accessories as well as hand-painted glass, crystal, wine and champagne bottles.  The company will retain 27 employees and create 41 new positions by 2014.  Etching will invest more than $4.18 million and purchase a new 83,712 sf building in Indianapolis.
