Scottsburg, IN: Lt. Governor Becky Skillman joined Brian Buchanan, principal and owner of Buchanan Group Services, and Scottsburg Mayor Graham with other company officials and local representatives at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday for a groundbreaking ceremony of the new Buchanan Group production facility to be built in Scottsburg.
The Indianapolis-based company is the owner and operator of Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Centers. In January, Buchanan Group announced that it will invest $2.3 million to construct a 17,500 square-foot headstone and granite memorial production facility and create up to 24 new jobs in Scottsburg.
