Bedford, IN: The City of Bedford, City of Mitchell, Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, and Lawrence County Economic Growth Council hosted a Foreign Investment Conference on Friday, February 24, 2012.
The events keynote speaker was Yang Guoqiang, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Chicago that serves nine states in the mid-west region of the United States. Mayor Wayne Seybold of Marion Indiana also shared the success that his city has achieved through foreign investment.
In addition, there were presentations from Kent Anderson of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Japan American Society of Indiana, Jenny Massey of FairWinds Advisors and VP of the America China Society, Gaylor Inc., and Ingraham & Associates.
