Bloomington, IN – Cook Pharmica LLC, part of Cook Medical, is expanding its biopharmaceutical contract manufacturing facility in Bloomington, Indiana. The company will invest $84 million in facility upgrades and new equipment to add contract fill finish capabilities. The project will create over 200 new jobs at the facility where currently 225 people are employed.
FairWinds Advisors worked with Cook Pharmica to evaluate locations for the expansion and to negotiate incentives in support of the project including over $2.2 million in performance based tax credits and $100,000 in training grants from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.
